Museo Taurino
After touring the bullring itself, we stopped off to walk through the Museo Taurino dedicated to bullfighting. It is packed with memorabilia such as blood-spattered costumes worn by Pedro Romero and 1990s star Jesulín de Ubrique. The museum also features photographs of famous fans such as Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway, whose novels Death in the Afternoon and The Sun also Rises provided an in-depth perspective on the fear and tension involved in a bullfight.
