Graffiti granadino


Apart from the enchanting beauty of the Alhambra with the Sierra Nevada in the background, Granada is also famous for its graffiti. Once we got settled into our room at the hostal, we decided to truck it up to the Vistilla de los Angeles in the Realejo neighborhood, where vividly colorful imagery scales the sides of walls and buildings. The city’s most famous graffiti artist, “El Niño,” lives in a house nearby and uses the area as his personal canvas. While many of the tags are his creation, there are a number of other artists that have also contributed to transforming this lookout point into a first-class outdoor museum.

Needless to say, Brian was really excited to have so many new tags to take pictures of. He has posted them on his blog where he tracks the graffiti that we have seen along our travels; it is pretty interesting and definitely worthy of a glance:
