Busking

Apart from the tradition of the Camino de Santiago, the city is also known for its “busking,” the phenomenon in which people play their instruments in the street in hope of spare change from passersby.

The first person is playing the gaita, or the Galician bagpipe. The next is trying their hand, or lungs in this case, at the citara, an instrument indigenous to ancient central Asia.
