The first weekend of May was a puente in Spain to celebrate Labor Day. To take advantage of the time off, we decided to follow the lead of the locals and head to the beach. Our destination was the Algarve region of Portugal, which is only a couple of hours away by car, but on the bus it was more like six. All the same, the views along the highway as we made our way along the Portuguese coast were beautiful.
