Because there were four of us, it was actually more cost-effective for us to rent an apartment for the weekend as opposed to paying for a hostel. Plus, who could complain about the perks of having a kitchen with Ali around?On the way to the apartment, however, a lovely little Italian bird gave me his own welcome statement to his country. Yep, that's bird shit on top of my head.
All that aside, the apartment was charming, nestled in a small street just off of the Campo de' Fiori.
