Once we arrived to Transylvania County, it was not long before we found one of the entrances to the DuPont State Forest property. Madre and I packed a picnic lunch and spent the day there hiking the trails and stopping off at Triple Falls.

Yes, we do enjoy hiking, but we tend to stick to the beginner trails. ;-D
