Torrija
Around Semana Santa, we began to notice various bread stores around town posting in their windows that they had torrija, so of course we had to try it out. It is a sweet dessert that is traditionally prepared around Easter out of hard bread (from a couple of days ago), milk, eggs, fried in olive oil, and then topped with sugar, cinnamon , and honey. To say the least, it's delicious!
