Once we got back to our hostal, we hurried out the door again to catch a procession for Semana Santa, which was breathtakingly beautiful in front of the cathedral. Just before the cross made it into the doors of the church, everyone in the crowd was silent and the drop of a penny could have been heard in Praza do Obradoiro that night.
