They always say that you live and learn, right? Well, the lesson that we learned (the hard way) is that it always pays to double check your map. Like the good little tourists that we are, we came equipped with our Lonely Planet, but apparently the construction site that you see in the above photo must have been a recent addition to the landscape. You can imagine our surprise when we arrived at the edge of that steep ravine, thinking that we were just going to continue on our merry little way…
